Fourteen years as a make up artist has taken me to many places and I have had the opportunity to work with many extraordinary people. My talent comes from experience like no other.
I started my career in the film and theatre industry where I learned the powerful and dramatic effects of make up. I enhanced this knowledge by attending both the National Colour Academy (N.C.A) in Calgary and George Brown College, in Toronto. Areas of specialization included personal make up application, special effects make up and hair styling. All courses were completed with honours.
I worked in various positions with M.A.C cosmetics for seven years in both Vancouver and Toronto and volunteered for Fashion Cares for six of those years, keying three years in various sections. After leaving M.A.C, I spent some time in Paris doing freelance work on various collections for a number of designers in the fashion industry.
Currently, my freelance practice is based in downtown Toronto however many of my clients are from the surrounding areas and other cities within Canada. I am able to travel by car and have easy access to low cost travel by air.
